HERE ARE SOME GREAT QUOTES:
“Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of SOMEBODY, are afraid of SOMETHING. They know that there is a POWER somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better NOT speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”
Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924; 28th president of the United States; statement made in 1913)
“This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. We must GUARD AGAINST the acquisition of unwarranted INFLUENCE, whether sought or unsought, by THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. The POTENTIAL for the DISASTROUS RISE of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969; 34th president of the United States; from his farewell address in 1961)
“I toiled wholeheartedly in the vineyards because it was fun, fun, fun. Where else could a red-blooded American boy lie, kill, cheat, steal, rape and pillage with the blessings of all the highest?” – Colonel George White (former OSS officer from World War II; a founder of the Central Intelligence Agency)
“I wasn’t being used to kill people that were against our government – I was used to kill people that were against the evil in our government.”
Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Marvin, U.S. Army (Retired; Special Forces); ((Attended “assassination & terrorism” training at the Guerilla Warfare School at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Quote taken from an interview with Texe Marrs of “Power of Prophecy” – the audio tape of this interview, entitled “I Was Asked to Kill for the CIA”, can be obtained by calling toll-free 800-234-9673.))
“It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.” – Voltaire
This issue of TTT is dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Marvin, U.S. Army (Retired), Special Forces, and to “Power of Prophecy” broadcast host Texe Marrs (who has interviewed LTC Marvin on his broadcast).
Editor of TTT recently (November 22, 2003) wrote a seven-page issue (#38) of TTT entitled “The JFK Assassination: 40 Years Later – The Cover-up Continues”. This issue of TTT should nicely “dovetail” with that earlier issue.
U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander William Bruce Pitzer died at Bethesda Naval Hospital in his office on October 29, 1966. The circumstances surrounding his death are just one of the many cover-ups related to the JFK assassination. Many of those cover-ups continue to this very day. Lieutenant Commander Pitzer’s death was ruled a “suicide”. Was it a suicide, or was it a murder? And if it was a murder, will we, the American people, allow the cover-up to continue?
This issue of TTT is based largely upon the interview done by Texe Marrs with Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Marvin. The audio-taped interview is entitled: “I Was Asked to Kill for the CIA”.
II. DANIEL MARVIN, WILLIAM PITZER, AND THE JFK ASSASSINATION
President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. A U.S. Army soldier named Daniel Marvin decided then that he would become a part of the Army’s Special Forces (the “Green Berets”), since JFK had thought so highly of the Special Forces.
Daniel Marvin was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina attending the Guerilla Warfare School in 1964. During officer training a request was made for volunteers for “assassination training”. Daniel Marvin volunteered for this special training. During this “assassination training”, the trainees were told that there were four shooters involved in the assassination of JFK. The instructors considered the JFK assassination a “classic case” on how to assassinate someone and then blame it on a lone nut assassin!
The Special Forces officers who were trained in “assassination” were told that they would kill Americans overseas, and that the Mafia would be used [for assassinations] in the States.
About a year and half later, in August 1965, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, then-Captain Daniel Marvin was approached by a “company” (i.e., CIA) agent. Army Special Forces Captain Marvin was on orders for assignment to Vietnam. The CIA agent asked Captain Marvin if he would take an assassination mission on an American Naval officer, Lieutenant Commander William Bruce Pitzer, who was supposedly a “traitor” about to give secrets to the enemy. ((It was only years later that Daniel Marvin learned that the “secrets” that Lt.Cdr Pitzer had were photos of the real autopsy of President John Kennedy.)) Captain Marvin initially accepted the mission, believing that the CIA knew he was on orders to Vietnam, and that the assassination would take place overseas. However, when the CIA agent told Captain Marvin that the assassination of Navy Lt.Cdr William Bruce Pitzer was to take place at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland (on American soil!), Captain Marvin declined the assignment. Captain Marvin explained to the CIA agent that assassinations in the USA were supposed to be handled by the Mafia, not Special Forces officers! Captain Marvin said that the CIA agent then walked over to another Special Forces Captain, David H. Vanek. Captain Marvin said that he never saw Captain Vanek again, and attempts to locate him since have failed.
On October 29, 1966 Lt.Cdr William Bruce Pitzer died in his office at Bethesda Naval Hospital. His death was ruled a “suicide”.
In November of 1993 LTC Daniel Marvin was watching a PBS Special on the JFK assassination. At the end of the special broadcast, a list of 42 people who had died violent deaths as a result of their association to the JFK assassination was shown. This list included witnesses, those who knew about the autopsy of JFK, etc. LTC Marvin said he almost got sick when he saw Lt.Cdr Pitzer’s name on the list.
LTC Marvin later contacted Lt.Cdr Pitzer’s widow, Joyce. LTC Marvin learned that Lt.Cdr Pitzer had possessed a Top Secret security clearance. He had been in charge of the autopsy records at Bethesda Naval Hospital at the time of the JFK assassination. Since Marvin, as a Special Forces Captain, had been asked by the CIA to assassinate Lt.Cdr Pitzer at Bethesda Naval Hospital (remember, Marvin had DECLINED the assignment), he strongly believes that another individual in the Special Forces (probably Captain Vanek???) carried out the assassination. ((Is this why Vanek disappeared off the face of the planet?))
Joyce Pitzer knew that her husband had not committed suicide. Within 24 hours of her husband’s death she received a visit from an individual in Naval Intelligence who told her that she was not to talk to anyone – not even family – about the death of her husband. It took Joyce Pitzer over 25 years of requests to finally get a copy of the autopsy on her husband. LTC Marvin believes the autopsy that Joyce finally received was not that of her husband.
Then-Army Special Forces Captain Daniel Marvin declined an assignment to assassinate Lt.Cdr William Bruce Pitzer in August 1965. Marvin later learned that Lt.Cdr Pitzer had died at Bethesda Naval Hospital on October 29, 1966. His death had been ruled a suicide.
Dear readers, all the evidence indicates that a good, decent American – a Naval Officer with a Top Secret security clearance – was assassinated because he simply wanted to get the truth about the JFK assassination autopsy photos out to the American people. He was no doubt murdered in his office after showing his assassin where the photos were.
The brains of JFK also “disappeared”. When will the cover-ups ever end? How many more good Americans have been assassinated by patriotic Americans who have been lied to, as was the case with Lt.Cdr Pitzer, who was supposedly giving “secrets” to the “enemy”? How often has that “line” been used to get patriotic Americans to assassinate other patriotic Americans?
The assassination of Lt.Cdr William Pitzer is but a small piece of the overall cover-up that continues to this very day regarding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. But it is a very important piece. Congress needs to do an honest, genuine investigation of both Lt.Cdr Pitzer’s death and JFK’s assassination. Will we ever get the truth from our federal government and its cohort in cover-ups, the establishment-CONTROLLED mainstream media? I wonder.
IV. WHAT CAN WE DO?
1. We all need to get better informed on the key issues of our day – and this includes the death of Lt.Cdr William Pitzer and the assassination of JFK. The taped interview of LTC Daniel Marvin is available on audio cassette tape from Power of Prophecy. The title of the tape is “I Was Asked to Kill for the CIA”. It can be ordered by calling toll-free 800-234-9673.
2. LTC Daniel Marvin has a web site: www.expendableelite.com . Editor of TTT recommends that you visit that web site, and read portions of his book, Expendable Elite – One Soldier’s Journey Into Covert Warfare. This books deals with “the good, bad, and the ugly of secret warfare”. ((Editor of TTT has not read a copy of this book yet; however, it sure looks good from what I saw on LTC Marvin’s web site!))
3. We all need to write, call, fax, and e-mail our Congressmen and Senators about such cover-ups as the deliberate attack on the USS Liberty, the death of Lt.Cdr William Pitzer, the assassination of JFK – and tell them firmly: “No more cover-ups, and no more lies!” We need to have some real, independent, and honest Congressional investigations into such matters.
4. If you think that this issue of TTT has information of importance for other Americans, then please make copies and give them to others.
